January Partner Letter

Dear Partner,
When I first began ministering the Word, I was very young and it bothered me that I had a lack of experience in life. Who was I, at the age of 19, to be teaching truths to those who had lived life much longer than I had?
I began to study the book of Proverbs over and over; so much so that almost all the scriptures are underlined with the red marker I was using to highlight important points!
I began to realize that life experience is not the most important thing, although there is value in that. Wisdom in the Word of God is more important than anything else in life.
Proverbs 4:7 says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom…” The word “principal” means “first in order of importance.”
So, let’s put first things first. We are looking at the first of a new year. What should we do first? Seek wisdom! Ask for wisdom and then go to God’s Word which is full of wisdom. I am asking for the wisdom of God concerning 2020. How shall we expand? What new projects does God have in store? How shall we pray?
I love the book of Proverbs and every time I read from it, I literally feel God’s wisdom flood my spirit. His Word is life! And no matter what you are facing, His wisdom is there to direct you – if you only ask and seek.
Joshua was told by God to meditate on the Word and act on it to be prosperous, deal wisely and have good success. (Joshua 1:8) As you seek God’s wisdom, I pray for you to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom, and that you will prosper and have good success in 2020!
