December Partner Letter
December 2020
Dear Partner,
We are living in a distinct period of time in the history of the church age. It is near its conclusion. We are about to enter into a new era – a new dispensation and the transition is uncomfortable for many people. We don’t really like change, but it is happening and although we don’t know the exact day of His appearing, the return of Jesus Christ and His rule on earth is nearer than it has ever been.
Now is the time to stand fast in faith and all that we have learned over the years. Just as we’ve been taught “having done all to stand, stand!” (Ephesians 6:13), we must spiritually take on the whole armor that God has provided for us. This is not a political or physical battle but a spiritual one.
Timing is everything. On December 7, 1941 when Pearl Harbor was attacked, Japan knew that early on a Sunday morning the armed forces would be relaxing more than watching and this would be an ideal time to launch an attack. Don’t let down your guard. Jesus told us to watch and pray when speaking of the end time. (Mark 13:33-35) The five foolish virgins were at the right place, but their timing was off because they were unprepared, so they left to buy oil which put them at the wrong place when the bridegroom came.
“So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return.” (Matthew 25:13 NLT)
Every step of every day must be guided by the Holy Spirit. I pray every morning that my steps will be directed by the Lord. The end of my journey is determined by thousands of steps and I ask guidance and wisdom for each one, knowing that with the help of the Holy Spirit I will be in the right place at the right time.
I am praying for each and every one of you to be led by the Holy Spirit and walk in God’s perfect timing.
In Christ,
Annette Capps
